Tensions between law enforcement in Cleveland County are “strained” right now, according to a town’s police chief. A police officer in Lexington, Oklahoma pulled over the Cleveland County Sheriff for speeding. The sheriff then told the officer he was on his way to a SWAT call. He was allowed to proceed to the call. Then the Lexington police chief showed up at the scene and a confrontation ensued, which ended with both sides accusing each other of assault.
